Updated Service arrangement for Will Swaim
Please join us to celebrate the amazing life of William "Will" Angus Swaim. We will gather to share some of our favorite memories and remember the wonderful life of our friend, Will Swaim, Saturday, September 10, which is also his birthday. The Celebration will be held at Village Park Conference and Event Center at 7 p.m. Village Park is located at 308 Memorial Park Drive, Sparta.
William "Will" Angus Swaim, 56, of Sparta, went home to Jesus, December 16th, 2021.
Will is survived by Sarah, "my love" who he vowed to love until "death do us part". He is also survived by his parents, Bobby and Vivian Swaim; a sister, Mitzi Marlowe, a nephew, Zac Rogers, a niece, Sara Atwood. Other family members include Autry Higgins, Susan Lyons and family, Danny Higgins and family, Mike and Beth Foster, Nancy Flannery, Sandy Frye, Sandra Everhart, Val Atwood, Robin Berrier, Dale Potts, Justin and Jerel Willey, Cathy Crone, Dale and Diane Wyatt, Patty Basset James, Diane and Bob Woodward, Michelle Shepherd, Paula Taylor, Jane Wilson, and two granddaughters.
Will was a Master Carver, Musician, Wood Worker, Artisan, Craftsman, and nature lover. Most of all, he was a true friend.
Will is going home to No View. Graveside Services will be held on his property at No View, 905 New Haven Road, Sparta, NC 28675 at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, December 22nd, 2021. All is welcome to attend. No formal visitation will be held.
In lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to Junior Appalachian Musicians of Alleghany, PO Box 1326, Sparta, NC 28675.
Due to construction of No View, the family respectfully ask for no food or visitors at the residence.
