William Pride Bare

William Pride Bare, age 61, of Glade Valley, NC; passed away Monday, April 26th, 2021 in Ennice, NC.

Willie was born June 13th, 1959 in Ashe County, NC to the late Freel Elise and Effie Miller Bare. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Carl and J. B. Bare; two sisters: Maxine Mabe and Wanda Bare.

Survivors include a son, Dustin Bare and wife Tasha of Glade Valley; a grandson, Preston Bare; a step-granddaughter, Ariel Bourne; three brothers: Claude Bare and wife Wanda of Hamptonville, Jerry Bare and wife Terri of Wilkesboro, Gary Bare of Ennice; a sister, Evelyn Money and husband Ed of State Road; two step-sons: Chris Eller and wife Melissa of Wilkes, Mike Eller and wife Andrea of Lenoir; special family: Joseph and Amanda Scheffey and children of Ennice; several nieces and nephews and extended family also survive.

A Memorial Service to honor the life of Willie will be held at 11:00 am Monday, May 3rd, 2021 in the chapel of Thomas Family Funeral Service. No formal gathering or visitation will be held.
