Wiley Smith Obituary
Wiley Othello Smith, age 56, of 112 Independence Road, Sparta, NC; passed away Saturday, May 21st, 2022 at his residence.
Wiley was born June 7th, 1965 in Surry County to the late Robert Leon and Clara Wagoner Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Darin Lee McCoin Smith; a brother, Ronnie Smith; a sister, Myrtle Ann Smith.
Survivors include two brothers: Dwight Smith and wife Pattie of Ennice, David Smith and wife Penny of Boonville; several nieces and nephews also survive.
A memorial service to honor the life of Wiley will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, August 6th, 2022 at Antioch Methodist Church Cemetery in Roaring Gap with the Reverend Ray Long officiating. No formal visitation will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Antioch Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Jim Smith, PO Box 882, Sparta, NC 28675.
