Wanda (Cranford) Roberts

Wanda Cranford Roberts, of the Edmonds Community of Ennice; passed away Monday, August 25th, 2025 at Grayson Nursing and Rehab in Independence, VA.

Wanda was born July 29th, 1938 in Alleghany County to the late Joe Clyde and Alice Beulah Irwin Cranford. She retired from Alleghany County Schools where she served as an Administrative Assistant to the Principal at Glade Creek School. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Mack Roberts; a sister, Delma Smith; a brother, Grady Cranford.

Survivors include two daughters: Diane Brinegar and husband Kenneth of Sparta, Pam Baldwin of Sparta; two grandchildren: Justin Brinegar and wife Cassidy of DeLand, FL., Kendra Evans and husband Josh of Ennice; four great-grandchildren: Nora Evans, Oliver Evans, Henry Evans, Emmett Evans; a brother, Dan Cranford and wife Gerri of Sparta; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends also survive.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.

In lieu of food and flowers, memorials may be donated to a charity of ones choice in honor of Wanda.
