Wallis (Clary) Meadows

Wallis Clary Meadows, age 84, of Sparta and formerly of Carteret County, NC; passed away Friday, August 22nd, 2025 at her residence.

Mrs. Meadows was born December 21, 1940 in Mecklenburg County, NC to the late George Russell and Elizabeth Johnson Clary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny William Meadows, Sr; a son, Johnny William Meadows, Jr.; a brother, Pete Clary.

Survivors include two sons: Russell A. Meadows of Greenville, NC and Wallace A. Meadows of Sparta; a granddaughter, Kaylyn A. Meadows Van Emden of Clemmons; two great grandchildren: Asher and Aubrey Van Emden of Clemmons; a sister, Liz Hilliard of Charlotte.

No formal services will be held.
