Travis William Leftwich

Travis William Leftwich, age 39, of Atlantic Beach, NC found peace Wednesday, October 13th, 2021.
Travis was born March 12, 1982 in Galax, Va. to Gerald William and Sharon Reedy Leftwich of Cherry Lane. Travis was the embodiment of loyalty, light and laughter. He was happiest outdoors especially surrounded by water and found the most joy in surfing, fishing, kayaking, hunting, and camping. Travis never met a stranger. To know him was to love him.
He is survived by his parents, a sister and brother-in-law, Kodia and Zack Byers of Pfafftown, NC and two very special nieces, Mae and Edie Rees. He is also survived by several loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Celebration of Life Service to honor the life of Travis will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, October 17th, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Sparta with Eric Clifton, Pastor Matt Harris, and Gary Poole officiating. No formal visitation will be held.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Ben and Kaye Royall, Johnny and Dorothy Miller for always being there for the family.
