Timothy "Tim" Marion Joines age 60, of Timmonsville, SC and formerly of Glade Valley, NC; passed away Tuesday, February 7th, 2023 at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center in Florence, SC.
Tim was born in Alleghany County, NC to the late Elder Jimmy and Betty Culler Joines. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Buddy and Barbra Blankenship; a sister-in-law Sharron Ann Blankenship.
He was a member of the Sparta Masonic Lodge No.423 AF&AM, New River Shrine Club and the Bruce Wayne Osborne VFW Post #7034 of Sparta. He enjoyed golfing and spending time at the beach with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Blankenship Joines of the home; a son, Adam Daniel Joines and wife Hannah of Jonesville, NC; two grandchildren: Anakin Samuel Joines and Xander Liam Joines of Jonesville, NC; a sister, Rebecca Ann Roupe (Gary) of Laurel Springs; a brother David Glenn Joines (Michelle) of Melrose, FL; four brothers-in-law: Tim Blankenship (Kathy) of Sparta, Randy Blankenship (Bonnie) of Ennice, Gary Blankenship (Pam) of West Jefferson, and Dean Blankenship of Henderson, NC; one aunt, Judy Gibson of Thomasville, NC; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and special friends: The Bostwicks, Mr. Don Miller, Big Mac, Mary Conyers and extended family and friends also survive.

Funeral services to honor the life of Tim will be held Monday, February 13th at 2:00 pm with the visitation one hour prior, in the chapel of Thomas Family Funeral Service with Elder Junior Bottomley and Pastor Mark Wagg officiating. Internment will follow at Whitehead-Joines Cemetery.
