Thomas Blane Watson

Thomas "Tommy" Blane Watson, Jr., age 48 of Ennice; passed away Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023 at his residence.

Tommy was born March 25th, 1974 in Galax, VA to Thomas Blane Watson, Sr and Shirley Sandra Caudill Watson. He was preceded in death by three sisters: Cheryl Ann Watson, Nancy Brooks, and Tammy Achtenburg.

Survivors include his parents of the home; three sisters: Brenda Hines and husband Allen of Sparta, Debbie Lybrink and husband Ed of Howell, MI, Pattie Sturdivant and husband Connie of Independence, VA; special nephews: Tyler Choate (Laken Ring) of Sparta, Zachary Hash of Sparta, Jason Simmons of South Boston, VA; a special great-nephew, Talen Choate of Sparta; special cousins: Johnny and Barbara Reed of Sparta; his canine companion JoJo; additional family members and friends also survive.

Funeral Services to honor the life of Tommy will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 7th, 2023 in the chapel of Thomas Family Funeral Service with Brian Poindexter and J.L. Chappell officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the residence of Brenda and Allen 126 Sparta Heights, Sparta, NC 28675.

The family will gather at 26 Elm Street in Sparta following the service.
