Thelma Dale Dixon

Thelma Dale Dixon, age 71, of Laurel Springs, NC; passed away Wednesday, November 8th, 2023 at her residence.

Thelma was born April 28th, 1952 in Alleghany County to the late Isaac and Billie Mabe Dixon. She enjoyed baking, playing the piano and reading.

Survivors include a brother, Rex Dixon and wife Juanita of Laurel Springs; a sister, Peggy Davis and husband Randall of Crumpler; a niece, Amber McGinnis and husband Adam of Laurel Springs; two nephews: Derek Davis and wife Penny of Laurel Springs, Brandon Davis and wife Elizabeth of Sparta; a great-niece, Laurel Davis; three great-nephews: Dylan Davis, Landon Davis and Isaac McGinnis.

Funeral Services to honor the life of Thelma will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, November 10th, 2023 in the chapel of Thomas Family Funeral Service with Kenneth Brinegar officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank Medi-Home Hospice of Alleghany and Wilkes Oncology and Hematology for their exceptional care of Thelma. Also, a special thanks to her church family and extended friends for all of the prayers.
