Teddy Wayne Hudson

Teddy "Ted" Wayne Hudson, age 81, of Ennice, NC; passed away Friday, November 10th, 2023 at his residence.

Ted was a member of Glade Creek Baptist Church. He was US Army Veteran and was proud of his service. He loved to work and help others and especially working in his yard and around his home. He enjoyed his classic cars, and riding motorcycles.

Ted was born November 20th, 1941 in Alleghany County to the late Raymond and Myrtle Richardson Hudson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons: Jeffery Wayne Hudson and Jason David Hudson; two brothers: Johnny Hudson and Frankie Hudson; a brother-in-law, Edward H. Sanchez.

Survivors include two sisters: Janelle Hudson and Patsy H. Sanchez both of Ennice; a brother: Sonny Hudson and wife Carolyn of Ennice; nieces and nephews: Tim Hudson and wife Marsha of Ennice, Kim Hines of Woodbridge, VA, Rhonda Hudson of Blacksburg, VA, Daniel Hudson of Radford, VA; great niece and nephews, Haley Hayworth and husband Richie of Ennice, Cort Hudson and wife Katie of Cherry Lane, Troy Hudson of Charlotte; great-great nieces and nephews: Harper Hayworth and Hudson Hayworth both of Ennice, Marley Hudson and Rylin Hudson both of Cherry Lane.

Funeral Services to honor the life of Ted will be held at 11:00 am Monday, November 13th , 2023 in the chapel of Thomas Family Funeral Service with Brother Hugh Miller and Brother Ed Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Glade Creek Cemetery with full Military Honors conducted by the Bruce Wayne Osborne VFW Post # 7034 of Sparta. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
