Steven Donald Billings, Jr.

Steven Donald Billings, Jr., age 39, of 9137 US Hwy 21 S., Glade Valley, NC; passed away unexpectedly Friday, June 3rd, 2022 at his residence.

Steven was born June 17th, 1982 in Alleghany County to Betty Guynn Hall and the late Stephen Donald Billings. He retired from the United States Army after thirteen and a half years of service to our country.

Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Brandy Billings of the home; two sons: Gabriel Billings and Kayden Billings both of the home; his mother, Betty Hall and husband Randy of W. Jefferson; a sister, Jan Manzini and husband Kyal of Maysville, NC; two nephews: C. J. Johnson and Shaun Johnson; four nieces: Savannah Lewis, GiGi Manzini, Jewels Manzini and Kat Manzini; his mother-in-law, Harriet Locklear of Glade Valley; a great-niece, Everleigh Johnson; extended family and many friends also survive.

Funeral Services to honor the life of Steven will be held at 12:00 pm Friday, June 10th, 2022 in the chapel of Thomas Family Funeral Service conducted by the Chaplain of the Bruce Wayne Osborne VFW Post# 7034 of Sparta. Military graveside honors will follow at New Salem Cemetery conducted by the Bruce Wayne Osborne VFW Post# 7034 of Sparta. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
