Shane Matthew Brooks

Shane Matthew Brooks, age 53 of Jonesville, NC; passed away Monday, March 3rd, 2025 at his residence.

Shane was born October 27th, 1971 in Alleghany County to William Zane Brooks and the late Mable Caudill Brooks. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Jeffery Brooks.

Survivors include his father, Zane Brooks of Jonesville; a sister, Sandra Brooks Webster of Jonesville; a brother, Shawn Brooks and wife Mariam of Poplar Springs; a special friend, Jennifer Roten of Wilkesboro; cousins, extended family and friends also survive.

Funeral services to honor the life of Shane will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 8th, 2025 in the chapel of Thomas Family Funeral Service. Interment will follow in Laurel Glen Regular Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
