Sandra (Choate) Towns

Sandra Choate Towns, age 66 of Maryville, TN; passed away Sunday, Feb 26th, 2023 at her home.

Sandra had many talents and was very creative.  She pursued her passion of interior decorating and turned her creativity into a successful career. She loved to travel, with the beach being one of her favorite destinations. Her life, personality and smile brought joy to all who knew her.

Sandra was born in Alleghany County, NC on July 2nd, 1956 to the late Elgin Roy and Marie Brooks Choate.

She is survived by her husband, Jody L. Towns of the home ; her step-daughter, Stacy Olson and husband Toby;  five grandchildren: Page Hutchens Crouch, Savanna Hutchens, Stanley Hutchens, Noah Olson and Gavin Olson;  three great-grandchildren: Grayson Parks, Addison Crouch and Aiden Crouch; a brother, Keith Choate of Black Mountain; three sisters: Bonnie Zuber and husband Calvin of Texas, Dorothy Wagoner and husband Jack of Sparta, Kaye Royall and husband Ben of Sparta; a special nephew, Chad Billings of Kernersville; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

The family would like to extend special thanks to her family of friends and neighbors who were so supportive during this most difficult time.

A memorial service to honor the life of Sandra will be held at 5:00 PM on Saturday, March 25th, 2023 at Smith Trinity Chapel in Maryville, TN with Pastor Ed Santana officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Smith Trinity Chapel.
