Sandra Lee (Dutcher) Crocker

Sandra Lee Dutcher Crocker, age 72, of N. Wilkesboro, NC; passed away Sunday, September 5th, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, NC.

Sandra was born January 14th, 1949 in Canandaigua, NY to the late George and Sybil Dewey Dutcher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ray Dutcher.

Sandra had a degree in Criminal Science. She was a very talented cook and craftier. She loved to go to Flea Markets. When living in Crystal Beach, NY, she was the first Volunteer Fire Woman with the Crystal Beach Volunteer Fire Department. During her training with them, she received her scuba training.

Survivors include her companion of 33 years, David "Red" Douglas of the home; four children: Mike Aikey and wife Dorie of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, Jeanette Matecki and husband Dan of Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada, David Miller and wife Mary of OH, John Miller and wife Jeanette of PA; eleven grandchildren: Jessie Fernandes, Bailey Willock, Taylor Willock, Alexandra Aikey, Christina Aikey, Estella Miller, Evelyn Miller, Brandon Miller, Bryson Miller, Barrett Miller and Braxton Miller; five great-grandchildren: Delilah Fernandes, Blake Fernandes, Daniel Ploufe, Major Davidson, Daniella Aikey; three brothers: Kenny Dutcher and wife Sharon, Jay Dutcher, Paul Dutcher all of NY; a sister, Susie Dutcher of NY; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends also survive.

No formal services will be held locally.
