Sandra Lee (Lyall) Carpenter

Sandra "Sandy" Lyall Carpenter, age 45, of Ennice passed away Thursday, October 3rd, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem.

She was born February 9th, 1974 in Alleghany County to Nancy Lyall Douglas and the late Ernest James Lyall. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a step-brother, Thomas E. Douglas, Jr.

Sandy is survived by her husband, Steve Carpenter of Ennice; Mother, Nancy Douglas and husband Tommy of Crumpler; two brothers: Ricky Lyall and wife Sheila of Laurel Springs, Dustin Douglas and wife Allison of Laurel Springs; a sister, Cynthia Faile of Gaston County, NC; three neices: Kelsey Lyall, Candace Douglas, and Madison Douglas; two nephews: Fletcher Douglas and Landon Douglas; two special canine companions: Chunky and Gracie.

Funeral Services to honor the life of Sandy will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, October 7th, 2019 at Pine Fork Baptist Church with Reverend Mark Wagg and Brother Ed Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Cranberry Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
