Roger Dale Bare

Roger "Booger" Dale Bare, age 78, of 585 Mandy's Way in Ennice, NC; entered into his heavenly home on Wednesday morning, January 12th, 2022 at his residence.

Booger was born August 7th, 1943 in Ashe County to the late Ernest and Bernice Bare. He retired from Lowe's Home Improvement, he attended New Covenant Church in Ennice, he liked to travel with his family and over the years, he enjoyed hunting, gardening, and playing softball. He loved to watch sports, but his favorite was watching the Cincinnati Reds play baseball.

Booger was a friend to everyone he met. He was always willing to help, a hard worker, and there was never a dull moment when he was around.

Booger was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 57 years, Linda Bare of the home; a daughter, Lisa Walton of Ennice; two grandchildren: Kayla Walton of Ennice, Seth Walton and wife Jessica of Boonville, NC; three sisters: Peggy Harless and husband Tommy of W. Jefferson, NC, Mary Andrews of Sparta, Charlene Vannoy of Sparta; a brother, David Bare of Sparta; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends also survive.

Funeral Services to celebrate the life of Booger will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, January 14th, 2022 at New Covenant Church with Pastor Phil Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at the residence.

The family would like to thank Medi-Home Hospice of Alleghany, Dr. Mary Digel, and his church family at New Covenant Church for everything you did for Booger and the family.
