Robert "Bobby" Lee Edwards

Robert "Bobby" Lee Edwards, age 84 of 186 Lucas Street, Sparta, NC; passed away Wednesday, November 11th, 2020 at Wilkes Medical Center in North Wilkesboro.

Bobby was born April 27th, 1936 in Alleghany County to the late Kelly and Audrey Holder Edwards.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Vivian Andrews Edwards; a son, Michael Edwards and wife Lisa of Sparta; Patty Minor and husband Jay of Sparta; brother-in-law, Bill Gibson of Maryland; four grandchildren: Kelly Demery and husband Ben of Madison, NC., Megan Halsey and husband Roger of Sparta, Kevin Neville of Boone, NC., Matthew Hodge and wife Ashley of Sparta; four great-grandchildren also survive.

A Graveside Service to honor the life of Bobby will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, November 16th, 2020 at Pleasant Home Union Baptist Church Cemetery with Brother Ed Hall officiating. The Alleghany Honor will perform honors for his many years of service with the Alleghany County Rescue Squad. No formal visitation will be held but you may visit the family at their home if desired.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, please bring and wear mask at the graveside service or when visiting the home.
