Robert Dale Truitt

Robert (Bobby) Dale Truitt, age 65 of Christiansburg, VA; passed away Sunday, March 22nd, 2026 at his residence.

Bobby was born August 13, 1960 in Galax, VA to the late Howard Lee and Ruby Hall Truitt.

Bobby grew up on the family farm in Baywood, VA where he loved the animals, especially his dogs. He enjoyed watching and rooting for the North Carolina Tarheel Basketball team, the Pittsburgh Penguin Hockey team, and the Penn State Football team.

Survivors include two sisters: Patricia T. Andrews of Sparta, NC, Karen T. Levin of Waynesboro, VA; two brothers, Howard (Buddy) Truitt, Jr. of Danville, VA, David Truitt and wife Sherry of Galax, VA.

Services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of food and flowers, memorials may be made to Twin Oaks Animal Shelter, 2970 US Hwy 21 Sparta, NC 28675.
