Robert Kent Andrews

Robert "Bob" Kent Andrews, age 73, of Sparta; passed away Monday, December 9th, 2024 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem.

Bob was born August 10th, 1951 in Surry County to the late Jones Kent and Ruby Branscome Andrews. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and loved spending time with all of them. Bob was quite the entrepreneur. He enjoyed farming and coming up with new business ventures.

Survivors include three children: Angel Wright and husband Andy of Independence, Joseph Andrews of Sparta, Abby Andrews and fiance Stephen Grippo of Sparta; four grandchildren: Luke Wright and fiancee Ashley Walls, Lauren Haga and husband Jared, Natalie Freeman and husband Hunter, Emma Pratt; three great-grandchildren: Karsyn Haga, Hazelee Wright, Tucker Haga; companion, Pauline Baldwin.

A visitation only for family and friends will be held from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Friday, December 13th, 2024 at Thomas Family Funeral Service. A private graveside service will be held at Sparta Cemetery.

The family respectfully requests no food or visitors at the home.
