Rita (Blevins) Loggins

Rita Blevins Loggins, age 62, of Jefferson, NC; passed away Tuesday, November 30th, 2021 at Watauga Medical Center in Boone, NC.

Rita was born July 25th, 1959 in Ashe County, NC to the late James and Ellie Blevins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, J.R. Blevins; a sister, Juanita Loggins.

Survivors include two children: Cindy Loggins Smith of Jefferson, Keith Alan Loggins and wife Ashley of Piney Creek; two grandchildren: Baylee and Bentley Loggins; a brother, Roger Blevins and wife Jenny of Deep Gap; several nieces and nephews also survive.

A gathering of family and friends to honor the life of Rita will be held from 12:00 until 1:00 PM Saturday, December 4th, 2021 at Thomas Family Funeral Service in Sparta. Visitors are welcome during reasonable calling hours at the home of Keith and Ashley Loggins, 793 Blevins Hollow Road, Piney Creek, NC 28663.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Thomas Family Funeral Service, PO Box 114 Sparta, NC 28675 to assist the family with final expenses.

Due to Covid-19, we respectfully ask that everyone attending the gathering at the funeral home and visiting the home of the family, to please bring and wear a mask.
