Rita Mae (Wilson) Lantz

Rita Mae Wilson Lantz, age 58, of State Road, NC; passed away Tuesday, November 11th, 2025 at Lotus Village in Sparta, NC.

Rita was born November 28th, 1966 in Canton, OH to the late Earl and Larcena Dills Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her life long partner, Eugene Collins; a sister; three brothers.Rita enjoyed spending time outdoors camping, relaxing with her coloring books, and listening to her favorite band, Nickelback.

Survivors include two daughters: Bridgette Burdette and husband Jereme of State Road, Donna Fitchett and husband Jacob of WV; six grandchildren; a sister, Carol Dasher of VA; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends also survive.

No formal services will be held.
