Ralph L. Killon, age 81, of Wagoner Ridge Road, Ennice; passed away Monday, March 15th, 2021 at his residence.
Ralph was born April 23rd, 1939 in Alleghany County to the late Royal Glenn and Ethel Gertrude Norman Killon. He was a Dairy-Beef Farmer most of his life and also was a talented brick and block mason, building many homes in the surrounding areas. He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. He was a friend to all and helped so many people, never meeting a stranger.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Margaret Moore Killon; three children: Karen Roberts and husband Jackie of Sparta, Brian Killon and wife Tammy of Ennice, Kimberly Atwell and husband Jeff of Ennice; four grandchildren: Forest Fender and wife Amber, Madison Fender, Joshua Atwell and Joseph Atwell; a step-grandson, Jackson Roberts; two great-grandchildren: Logan and Holli Fender; three brothers: Roger Killon and wife Barbara of Ennice, Ray Killon and wife Brenda of Low Gap, Johnny Killon and wife Linda of Sparta; four sisters: Jackie Brooks and husband Don of Ennice, Betty Killon of Maryland, Elizabeth Cleary and husband Claude of Ennice, Kay Cox and husband Jerry of Galax, VA; many nieces, nephews and extended family members also survive.
Graveside Services to honor the life of Ralph will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, March 19th, 2021 at Saddle Mountain Cemetery with Reverend Keith Ledford and Elder Russ Cox officiating.
Due to Covid-19, no formal visitation will be held.
The family respectfully request no food be brought to the home.
