Peter (Pete) Lindon Rash
March 31, 1941 ~ April 14, 2026

Peter Lindon Rash of Glade Valley North Carolina went home to meet his Lord and Savior on April 14, 2026.

He was born in Crossnore North Carolina on March 31, 1941 to Victor and Mildred Rash. He joined the Navy for a short period and after returning, became a caddy at Linville Resort where he met the brother of his future wife, Madeline Gray. Pete and Madeline married on September 16, 1966 and had three children. A daughter Diane Michelle Rash and two twin sons Daniel (Danny) Scott Rash, and David Charles Rash.

Pete is survived by his son David Charles Rash.

Pete worked in the shrubbery business for 45 years and held many other jobs because he was an independent soul. Pete also knew and memorized the Bible and could quote any verse from any chapter or book when asked. He was extraordinarily intelligent, lively, and he always had a response to any and everything.

Due to Pete's wishes there will be no service held at this time.
