Natasha Leanne (Smith) Edwards

Natasha Leanne Smith Edwards, age 43, of Sparta; passed away Tuesday, May 9th, 2023 at Alleghany Memorial Hospital in Sparta.

Natasha was born October 29th, 1979 in Alleghany County to Alfa Poole Smith Brooks and the late Junior Mack Smith.

Suvivors include her mother, Alfa Smith Brooks of the home; two sisters: Louise Bedsaul and husband Ivan of Galax, VA, Debbie Crouse and husband Lynnie of Sparta; a brother, Dean Todd of Ennice; a special friend, Johnny Maines; several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends also survive.

Funeral Services to honor the life of Natasha will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, May 12th, 2023 in the chapel of Thomas Family Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Saddle Mountain Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and other times at the home of Debbie and Lynnie Crouse, 158 Glade Creek Road, Sparta, NC 28675.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully ask for donations to be made to Thomas Family Funeral Service, PO Box 114 Sparta, NC 28675 to assist with funeral expenses.
