Michael Lee Brown

Michael Lee Brown, age 58 of Glade Valley, NC; passed away Sunday, June 29th, 2025 at Alleghany Memorial Hospital in Sparta, NC.

Michael was born May 22nd, 1967 in Alleghany County, to the late Leroy Brown and Mary Alice Crouse Brown. He enjoyed horses, camping, hunting, fishing and spending time with family.

Survivors include his wife, Amanda Stout Brown; a son, Derek Brown and wife Tonya of Glade Valley; a grandson, Cooper Brown of Glade Valley; his mother, Mary Alice Brown of Glade Valley; a sister, Dania Ruppard and husband Mack of Glade Valley; two brothers: Randy Brown and wife Jodie of Glade Valley, Chris Brown and wife Rosita of Glade Valley; a special friend, Tony Sidden of Glade Valley.

Funeral services to honor the life of Michael will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025 in the chapel of Thomas Family Funeral Service with Brother Ed Hall and Elder James Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Rich Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
