Mary Sue (Caudill) White

Mary Sue Caudill White, age 87 of Sparta; passed away Friday, June 5th, 2026 at Lotus Village in Sparta.

Sue was born January 11th, 1939 in Alleghany County to the late Clarence and Lillie Billings Caudill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Hoover White; two sisters: Billie Caudill and Cordia Truitt.

Survivors include a daughter, Sonia Joines and husband Bill of Sparta; a granddaughter, Tarras Day and husband Michael of Flag Staff, AZ; four great grandchildren: Ashley Bodkin and husband Chris of Salt Lake City, UT, Micah Day of Chandler, AZ, Reagan Day of Flag Staff, AZ, Katharine Day of Chandler, AZ; two great great grandchildren: Jacob Collins and Victoria Day; a sister, Joyce White of Dublin, VA.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
