Mary Angelita Alvarez, age 88, passed away unexpectedly on October 4th, 2020 in Mexico,

The Memorial Service honoring the life of Ms. Alvarez is being held in her hometown of Cd. del Maize, Mexico.

Mary's son Felix, his family, wife Sara, and grandchildren Joe and Katie Alvarez have been long time residence of Alleghany County.

The Alvarez family would like to express thanks to all their local friends for their prayers and support during this difficult time.
