Mark Steven Caudill

Mark Steven Caudill, age 49, formerly of Sparta; passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 13th, 2023 in Fletcher, NC.

Mark was born January 6th, 1974 in Galax, VA to Marvin Greene Caudill, Jr. and Minnie Lou Edwards Johnson. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Allen Johnson.

Survivors include his daughters, Peyton Machale Caudill and Skylar Marlowe; his companion and mother of his children, Shannon Marlowe; his father, Marvin G. Caudill, Jr. and wife Mildred of Independence, VA; his mother, Minnie Lou Edwards Johnson of Sparta; a brother, Matthew Johnson of Sparta; a sister, Mandy Johnson and Kyle Dean Smith of Independence, VA; two step-brothers: Travis Gunter and wife Wendy of Independence, VA, Jamie Bauguess and wife Heesuk of Gainesville, VA; a step-sister, Carmella Dalton of Galax, VA; a step-niece, Makayla Gunter; many friends and extended family also survive.

In keeping with Mark's wishes, he will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
