Mack loved Sparta Presbyterian Church and embodied the role of "Greeter" making sure love and hugs were part of everyone's church-going experience.

At the center of Mack's life was his family. He and Frankie recently celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary. Their partnership was grounded in love, laughter and unwavering support for each other and the entire family. He was deeply proud of his son, Trey and niece, Josie Maurer, who was like a daughter to him. He found great joy in being "Pop" to his grandchildren, Ashley and Liam. He is also survived by his brother, Alan Pittman and his wife, Kathy and their children, Will and Elizabeth Pittman; his sister, Susan Evans and her daughters, Ginny Jones and Lindy Hart; sisters-in-law, Jane Mesches and husband, Alan; Jonna Lee; brothers-in-law, John Lee and wife, Lynn; and Dani Lee along with extended family and countless friends who became like family over the years.
