Laura Louise Jenkins, age 91, of Clemmons passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Pruitt Health Care in Elkin.
Louise was born January 12, 1932, in Alleghany County, NC to Roy Wayne and Etta Lowe Evans.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Jenkins; two brothers; Roy Wayne Evans Jr, Jackie Wayne Evans; and one sister, Betty Lou Evans Brown.
Those left to cherish her memory are one sister, Carol Jean Evans Bottomley(Junior Ray) of Glade Valley, NC and eight nieces and nephews.
A graveside memorial service will be conducted Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 1:00 PM by Chaplain Matt Story at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in State Road, NC.
