Linda Todd

Linda Todd (born 1944 in Ennice, NC) of Matthews, NC went home to be with her Lord on September 19, 2022.  Survived by her husband of 60 years, Herbert Todd of the home.  Three children:  Jeffrey and Bunnie Todd of Ft Mill, SC; Joseph and Angela Todd of Matthews, NC; Jeanne and Bryan Swartwood III of Davidsonville, MD.  5 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.  Also survived by one Brother:  Mack and Martha Edwards of Ennice, NC and two sisters:  Euralee Phipps and Carol Brooks Murphy both of Sparta, NC.  Three sisters-in-law:  Joyce Parks of Marion, VA; Glenda Todd of Ennice, NC and Tina Todd of Landshut, Germany.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death:  her parents, James and Ella Edwards; her daughter, Julia Anita Todd and her sister Roberta Custer.

Linda accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior in 1963 and was faithful to attend church.  She was successful as a business owner, realtor and interior designer.  She travelled the world extensively and made friends wherever she went.  Some of Linda’s interests were  bowling, card playing and cooking fabulous meals for friends and family.  Her door was opened to all.

Her friends will remember not only her generosity but her ability to always make them laugh and feel at home.  Her life was well lived and full of people who loved her.  She will be great missed.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 am November 5th, 2022 at Little Pine Covenant Brethren Church with Pastor Eddie Wooten and Pastor Troy Rackliffe officiating.  A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall immediately following the service.
