Linda May Bitner O'Connor, age 74, passed away August 7th, 2021 in Galax, VA.
Linda was born July 5th, 1947 in Blue Island, IL to the late Gerald Bitner and Dolores Medrano Bitner Glad. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Gerrilyn Walls; a granddaughter, Meghan Leigh Hamm.
Survivors include her daughter, Michele Hamm of the home; grandchildren: Gabriel Hamm of the home, Natasha Hamm of Laurel Springs; two great-grandsons: Noah and Nicholas; sisters: JoMay Schneider and husband Dave, Jamie Gilmore and husband Bill, Holly Cathers and husband Greg, Debbie Kelly all of Florida; brothers: Tim Bitner, Bob Bitner, Tom Bitner and wife Suellen, Peter Glad and wife Suzy all of Florida; faithful companions: Copper and Bailey; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and extended family also survive.
