Linda Faye (Crouse) Carpenter

Linda Faye Crouse Carpenter, age 68, of 1133 Old Barrett Rd., Ennice, NC; passed away Friday, February 5th, 2021 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC.

Linda was born October 29th, 1952 in Alleghany County to the late Ralph and Anna Marie Billings Crouse. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie William Carpenter; a sister, Lorie Crouse Reavis; a grandson, Joseph Wayne Carpenter.

Survivors include her four children: Eddie William Carpenter, Jr. and wife Rhonda of Ennice, Mitchell Allen Carpenter of Sparta, Russell Wayne Carpenter of Ennice, Steven Dean "Petie" Carpenter and wife Darlene of Thomasville, NC; seven grandchildren: Chelsea Carpenter, Autumn Weeks, Allison Carpenter, Jonathon Carpenter, Julie Carpenter, Adam Burgess, and Lauren Cox; five step-grandchildren; Nine great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; one sister, Louise Andrews and husband Wayne of Sparta; two brothers, Harold Crouse of Glade Valley, Randy Crouse and wife Rebecca of Sparta; several nieces, nephews and extended family also survive.

Graveside services to honor the life of Linda will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, February 7th, 2021 at Edmonds Community Cemetery with Brother Jeff Carpenter, Brother Max Combs and Brother Mark Carico officiating. No formal visitation will be held.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we ask that everyone attending the graveside service to please bring and wear a mask.
