Linda Bedsaul Obituary
Linda Truitt Bedsaul, age 84, of Sparta, NC; passed away Monday, October 20th, 2025 at The Landings of Chestnut Grove in Sparta, NC.
Linda was born August 10th, 1941 in Alleghany County to the late Parley and Marie Edwards Truitt. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clint Floyd Bedsaul; a brother, David Truitt.
Linda earned a Bachelors degree in nursing and worked many years as a Registered Nurse. She along with her late husband was the owner and operator of BCB Trucking and Truline Truss. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Sparta and part of the church choir for over 40 years. She participated in dance, played the piano, and while living in Wilkes County, served as the office manager of WKBC 97.3 in North Wilkesboro, NC.
Survivors include a son, Bradley Clint Bedsaul and wife Noelle of Sparta; a granddaughter Brooke Taylor and husband Aaron of Little River, SC; a niece, Lizzette Truitt and husband Art Garcia of Palm Bay, FL; a host of extended family and friends also survive.
A graveside service to honor the life of Linda will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, October 26th, 2025 at Sparta Cemetery with Reverends John McCray and Matt Harris officiating. No formal visitation will be held.
The family respectfully request no food or visitors at their respective homes.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Sparta (Church Choir) PO Box 668 Sparta, NC 28675 or to The Landings of Chestnut Grove (Activities Department) 158 Chestnut Grove Church Road, Sparta, NC 28675.
