Larry Thomas Royal

Larry Thomas Royal, age 74 of Sparta, NC; passed away Friday, January 30th, 2026 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC.

Larry was born April 15th, 1951 in Ashe County, NC to the late Lester Royal and Bertha Perry McMillian. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene Royal. He was a member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Lily Royal of the home; a sister, Mary Ellen Lambert of Greenville, NC; two brothers: Bill Royal and wife Juanita of Laurel Springs, Howard Royal of Wilkesboro.

No formal services will be held.
