Larry Vince Rector

Larry Vince Rector, age 72, of Sparta, NC; passed away Friday, January 31st, 2025 at Lotus Village in Sparta.

Larry was born July 4th, 1952 in Point of Rocks, MD to the late Fielden and Zollie Osborne Rector. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters: Gracie Ross, Florence Hodge, Iva Jean Billings; a nephew, Timmy Hamm. Larry enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Survivors include two sons: Danny Rector of Sparta, Darrell Rector and wife Mary of Ennice; four grandchildren: Levi, Landon, Lucy, and Lani Rector; a brother, Bill Billings of Sparta; a sister, Charlotte Hamm of Mayodan, NC; a special friend, Donna Carson; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends also survive.

No formal services will be held.
