Larry Stephen Kupner

Larry Stephen Kupner, age 71, of 49 Toms Lane, Glade Valley, NC; passed away Saturday, May 22nd, 2021 at his residence.

Larry was born in Chapels, WV to the late Robert S. and Peggy Baugus Kupner. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving during Vietnam. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a baby sister, Margaret Kupner.

Survivors include his wife, Melinda E. Kupner; two children: Tiffany Nicole Kupner and Fiance', Jake Handy, Zachary Tyler Kupner; a step-son, Christopher Michael Crouse and wife Jennifer; three step-grandchildren: Abby, Charlie, and Kelsey Crouse; a sister, Brenda Miller and husband Edd; a brother, Scottie Kupner and wife Barbara; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mack and Martha Edwards; two brothers-in-law: Randy and Ricky Edwards; several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends also survive.

A Memorial Service to honor the life of Larry will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, May 29th, 2021 in the Chapel of Thomas Family Funeral Service with Reverend Charlie Bennett and Reverend Brad Wooten officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery with Full Military Honors conducted by Bruce Wayne Osborne VFW Post# 7034 of Sparta. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
