LV Edward Eldridge

LV Eldridge, age 75, of 216 Macedonia Church Road, Sparta, NC; passed away Friday, April 15th, 2022 at his residence.

LV was born September 9th, 1946 in Pennington Gap, VA to the late Jim and Ollie Young Eldridge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Bryant; a daughter, Missy Dawn Coffin; a granddaughter, Cynthia Bryant; four brothers: Henry, Tommy, Earl and JC Eldridge; three sisters: Brenda Kay Wiles, Marie Hodge, and Freda Petrey. He retired from Solid Waste Management with Alleghany County.

Survivors include his wife, Gail Eldridge of the home; two daughters: Theresa Billings and husband William of Ennice, Sharon Hash and husband Joe of Galax, VA; one son, Kenny Bryant and wife Nadine of Poplar Camp, VA; four grandchildren: Daniel (Felicia) Montgomery, Michelle Montgomery, Andrew Bryant, and Elena Thompson; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and extended family also survive.

Graveside services to honor the life of LV will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, April 19th, 2022 in Sparta Cemetery with Pastor Mark Wagg officiating. No formal visitation will be held.

The family would like to thank the staff of Medi-Home Hospice of Alleghany, especially Josh Hunt, Cigi Petty, Tracy Walton and Ashley Madrid for their care of LV.
