Kristen (Settle) Brinegar

Kristen Brinegar, age 30, of 198 Jones Street, Sparta, NC; passed away Thursday, May 5th, 2022 at her residence.

Kristen was born October 13th, 1991 in Wilkes County, NC to Beverly Waddell Poole. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Brice Waddell. She was a member of Saddle Mountain Union Baptist Church in Ennice, NC.

Survivors include her husband, Terry Brinegar of the home; two children: Dominic Thompson and Kayden Brinegar both of the home; her mother, Beverly Waddell Poole and husband Jimmy of Ennice; a sister, Kayla Settle of W. Jefferson; mother-in-law, Lujean Keepfer and husband Jim of Sparta; father-in-law, Joey Brinegar of Sparta; maternal grandmother, Carol Waddell of Laurel Springs; maternal great-grandmother, Arlene Mabe of Laurel Springs; one aunt, Pam Solana of Wilkesboro; two nephews: Caleb and Carter Scheffey of W. Jefferson; two special cousins: Ashley Lyalls of Boone, Rachel Lyalls of Duluth, GA; extended family and friends also survive.

Memorial Services to honor the life of Kristen will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, May 13th, 2022 in the chapel of Thomas Family Funeral Service with Brother Hugh Miller officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
