Kayla Renee (Todd) Hanson

Kayla Renee Todd Hanson, age 34 of Kingsland, GA and formerly of Glade Valley; passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 12th, 2023 at her residence.

Kayla was born July 15th, 1988 in Alleghany County to Arnold Junior and Renate "Rennie" Johnson Todd. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Gerty Johnson; her nephew, Justin Todd.

Survivors include her two children: Christopher Todd Hanson and Waverly Justine Hanson of St. Marys, GA; parents, Junior and Rennie Todd of Glade Valley; three brothers: Robbie Todd and wife Cara of Sparta, A.J. Todd and wife Lindsay of Sparta, Jeremy Todd and wife Drew of Piney Creek; nieces and nephews: Keaton, Brea, Kanyon, Stella, Saylor, Lauren, and Graham; special aunts and uncles: Carl Dean and Evelyn Johnson of Ennice, Regina and Robert Tipton of Clarksville, TN, Barbara Murphy of Sparta; a special sister, Lisa Rutherford; many additional family members and friends also survive.

Funeral Services to honor the life of Kayla will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, January 20th, 2023 in the chapel of Thomas Family Funeral Service with Brother Ed Hall and Pastor Eddie Wooten officiating. Interment will follow at Little Pine Covenant Brethren Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm until time of service at the funeral home and other times at the home of Junior and Rennie Todd, 24 Ford Lane, Glade Valley, NC 28627.
