Karen Rose (Toliver) Davis

Karen Rose Toliver Davis, age 69, of Sparta, NC; passed away Sunday, May 19th, 2024, at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.

Karen was born September 26th, 1954 in Alleghany County to the late Loyd Clarence and Muriel Caudill Toliver. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Leonard Toliver and Loyd Toliver. Karen enjoyed sewing, crafts and gardening.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Carl Davis of the home; two sons: Dathan Toliver and wife Dee of Galax, VA, Joe Hash of the home; two grandsons: Andrew Toliver, Matthew Toliver and wife Hayley, all of Galax, VA; a granddaughter Bailee Toliver of Galax, VA; a brother, Lee Toliver and fiancee Jackie Duncan of King, NC; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends also survive.

A Celebration of Life Service to honor the life of Karen will be held at 6:00 pm, Friday, May 24th, 2024, at Community Chapel Baptist Church in Fancy Gap, VA with Reverend Michael Senter officiating. No formal visitation will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Thomas Family Funeral Service, PO Box 114, Sparta, NC to assist the family with funeral expenses.
