Judy Ann (Maines) Brinegar

Judy Maines Brinegar, age 69, of 17 Maines Farm Drive, Sparta, NC; passed away Wednesday, November 8th, 2023 at her residence.

Judy was born October 25th, 1954 in Ashe County to the late Edwin and Ruby Caudill Maines. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Blevins. Judy enjoyed sewing, embroidery, cooking and flowers.

Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Chris Brinegar of the home; two children: Paula Connelly and husband Richard of Fountain Inn, SC and Michelle Hall and husband Norris of Anderson, SC; four grandchildren: Christopher Connelly, Taylyn Connelly, Evan Hall, Erin Fields; two great-grandchildren: Luke Connelly and Alaina Connelly. Many cousins also survive.

Funeral Services to honor the life of Judy will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, November 12th, 2023 at Landmark Union Baptist Church with Elders Charles Brinegar and James Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Landmark Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and all other times at the residence.

The family would like to thank Medi-Home Hospice of Alleghany for their exceptional care of Judy and to the extended family for their care.
