Joyce Ann (Young) Beck

Joyce Ann Young Beck of 1889 US Hwy 21 N., Sparta, NC; passed away Wednesday, February 3rd, 2021 at Alleghany Health in Sparta.

Joyce was born May 3rd, 1950 in Jasper, Iowa to the late Richard Young and Margaret DeVol Young. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Ray Beck; two sisters: Janice Woods and Donna Young; two brothers: Craig Young and Jerry Young.

Surviving are four children: Bill Atkinson and wife Kimberly of Swansea, SC., Rich Atkinson and wife Stephanie of Stafford, VA., Cindy Ginyard and husband Travis of Fort Pierce, FL., Melissa Rodriguez of Sparta; seventeen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two sisters: Tammy Fuessell and husband Scott, Sharon Ramirez and husband Lupe all of Iowa; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will conduct a private memorial service at a later date.
