Joel "Joe" David Silver, age 77, of Greensboro; passed away Saturday, May 20th, 2023 at AuthoraCare Collective Hospice Home in Greensboro.
Joe was born April 26th, 1946 in Guilford County, NC to the late George W. Silver, Jr. and Edna Finley Silver. Joe graduated from Walter Hines Page High School. He worked many years until his retirement in Electrolux Vacuum Cleaner Sales and Service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Max Silver; a sister, Georgia Nett Silver.
Survivors include his wife Judy Causey Silver of McLeansville; three children: Jeff Silver and wife Kelly of Greensboro, Jason Silver and wife Ashlyn Keller-Silver of Albemarle, Joel "Joey" Silver of Winston-Salem; four grandchildren: Mckenna Silver, Owen Silver, Benjamin Silver all of Greensboro and Mia Silver of Cornelius; a sister, Joan S. Bryan of McLeansville; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends also survive.
Funeral Services to honor the life of Joe will be held at 12:00 pm Thursday, May 25th, 2023 at Brown Summit Baptist Church with Pastor Chad Williams officiating. A private interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
