Joe David Roberts

Our beloved brother, Joe David Roberts, age 69, of Glade Valley, NC; made his heavenly flight on Monday, March 10th, 2025 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in Elkin, NC.

Joe was born December 20th, 1955 in Alleghany County to the late Coy Woodrow and Clara Lowe Roberts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Coy Roberts, Jr.; a nephew, Buster Dale Roberts.

Survivors include two brothers: Jerry Roberts of Sparta, Claudie Roberts and wife Gale of State Road; a niece, Jinny Roberts Brown and husband James of Hays; a great-niece, Grace Brown of Hays; two great-nephews: Hawss Roberts and Huston Roberts of Dobson; several cousins also survive.

Funeral services to honor the life of Joe will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 15th, 2025 in the chapel of Thomas Family Funeral Service with Reverends Charlie Bennett and Travis Lloyd officiating. Interment will follow in Cherry Lane Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
