Jerolene Lola (Williams) Richardson

Jerolene Williams Richardson, age 87 of Sparta; passed away Tuesday, November 4th, 2025 at Grayson Nursing and Rehabilitation in Independence, Va.

Jerolene was born July 19th, 1938 in Alleghany County to the late Bert and Lola Mae Collins Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Richardson.

Survivors include a son, Darrell Richardson and wife Kristi Marchetti of Sparta; a brother, Bill Williams of Sparta; two sisters in law and brothers in law: Ruth Henderson and husband Jack of Yadkinville, Esther Cummings and husband Greg of W. Jefferson; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends also survive.

Funeral Services to honor the life of Jerolene will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, November 8th, 2025 in the chapel of Thomas Family Funeral Service with Brother Ed Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Little Pine Covenant Brethren Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
