Jeffery Donald Reece

Jeffery Donald Reece, age 65 of Sparta; passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 20th, 2025 in Sparta, NC.

Jeff was born January 24th, 1960 in Newport Beach, CA to the late Willard Dale and Gloria Jean Gilbert Reece.

Jeff had a love for music, serving his Lord by playing his harmonica. He also had a love for sports and enjoyed playing recreational sports with his friends and riding his electric bike. Jeff enjoyed volunteering his time to help others and working with the Special Olympics.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Wendy Winnicki Reece of the home; two children: Kyle Reece and Jasmine Reece both of Durham, NC; two brothers: Steve Reece of Springfield, VA, Dale Reece and wife Janice of Gallup, NM; one sister, Jan Ford and husband John of Fountain Valley, CA; his canine companion, Corky; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends also survive.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 pm, November 11th, 2025 at Sparta United Methodist Church with Pastors Cade and Taylor Barefoot officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
