Jeffery Keith Rector

Jeffery "Jeff" Keith Rector, age 66, of Sparta, NC; passed away Tuesday, November 5th, 2024 at Novant Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.

Jeff was born August 20th, 1958 in Alleghany County to Raymond and Elaine Kennedy Rector. He enjoyed watching "Steelers" football , racing, and in his younger years, loved to race motocross.

Survivors include his wife, Robin Patton Rector of the home, seven children: Josh Rector of Sparta, Zack Rector of Sparta, Kaitlin Rector of Wilkesboro, Chase Rector of Wilkesboro, Matt Wosko of Pittsburgh, PA, Trevor Wosko and wife Sarah of Pittsburgh, PA, Amanda Wosko Baldwin and husband Rob of Washington, PA; seven grandchildren: Gabrielle Rector, Damon Rector, Elena Rector, Charlie Teague, Abby Baldwin, Maddie Baldwin, Koen Wosko; parents, Raymond and Elaine Rector of Sparta; a niece, Lauren Rector; a nephew, Brandon Rector; a brother, Craig Rector and wife Tammy of Concord; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jean and Jessie Fisher of Morganton, NC; special friends: Edwin Edwards, Randy Duncan, Tom Fender, Brian Killon; many extended family members and friends also survive.

Funeral services to honor the life of Jeff will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 8th, 2024 in the chapel of Thomas Family Funeral Service with Brother Robbie Dolinger and Reverend Homer Murdock officiating. Interment will follow in Kennedy Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
