Jason Nicholas Magnan

It is with tremendous grief and sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Jason Nicholas Magnan, aged 51, of Sparta, NC on Tuesday November 4, 2025. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his children, Aislynn, Nicholas, Payton, stepson Torren, and his grandson Kieran; his mother Deborah Huey; siblings Robin, Tanya, Roger, Samantha, Billy, Vernal, and Angela; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, William.

Jason was an extremely loving father to his children and a devoted “papa” to his grandchild; a constant provider of endless encouragement and support of their pursuits and dreams. He adored taking his family on long bike rides and nature walks in both Michigan and North Carolina, teaching them to explore and appreciate the world around them.

Jason was an artistic soul whose passion lied in abstract, bold art and design. His playful sense of humor would keep you laughing and entertained for hours while his stubborn nature assured that you knew where he stood, that he would always stand by his principals and beliefs.

Jason’s passing is a tremendous loss to both family and friends, and he will always be remembered fondly by those who knew him.

No formal services will be held.
