Jarrell Daley Jones

Jarrell Daley Jones, age 61 of Sparta, NC; passed away Thursday, July 10th, 2025 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC 

Jarrell was born February 19th, 1964 in Iredell County, NC  to the late Ralph Daley Jones and Shirley Smith Jones Sells. Jarrell loved fishing, gardening, farming, wood working, and watching old movies.

Survivors include a daughter, Ashton Jones of Winston Salem, NC; one sister, Carol Church of Sparta, NC; one brother, Steve Jones of Winston Salem, NC; several extended family and friends also survive. 

A gathering to celebrate the life of Jarrell will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, July 25th, 2025 in the chapel of Thomas Family Funeral Service. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Thomas Family Funeral Service, PO Box 114, Sparta, NC 28675 to assist with funeral expenses or to Twin Oaks Animal Shelter, 2970 US Hwy 21, Sparta, NC 28675.
